It’s me—and it’s you (well, presuming you’re female).
If you’re interested in learning more about strength training, this website is for you. I’m going to focus on beginning and intermediate women of all ages. (I’m over 50 and first lifted at age 21!)
I still love throwing iron around, and I like to share what I’ve learned and am still learning along the way.
Who am I?
I’m a writer and editor by trade and a fitness fanatic with a lifelong interest in the human body.
I’ve also taken graduate courses in exercise physiology, taught weight training for women, and done one-on-one coaching. My passion is continuous learning about the body and pushing my own limits. My mission is sharing what I learn with others and serving as a catalyst, an encourager, and a motivator.
